The Luna is the wing that will take pilots from their first flights to competitions. The Luna’s reflex profile creates a simple balance of speed and performance making it perfect for exploring the world.

rnBRUCE'S NOTESrn
I wanted to make a wing that would be easy to launch and have a short take off distance but also fast and stable for cruising.
rnWith a flat area of 27m², I designed the Luna relatively large and added a reflex section with long trimmers.
After month of testing and progressing we found, that the relatively large surface area of the wing gives early lift and trimmers out we get excellent stability at speed. It is just an easy wing under power.
Cord Cut Billow (CCB)
rnCord Cut Billow technology has been developed to improve the form friction, glider stability and overall performance of our gliders. Two seams run cord-wise across the top panels of the leading edge, and these accommodate the panel ballooning that happens when the wing is inflated. Up to ten centimetres of excess material is created on the sides of an inflated flat panel bending over a wing profile. Normally this results in ripples on the seams, but our Cord Cut Billow technology means the bulge is absorbed into the panels, which reduces this rippling. This in turn improves the rib’s profile shape and stability.
rnReflex section
We have incorporated a light reflex section into our wing profile to help improve stability at higher speeds.
rnParamotor - Trimmers
rnThere is a long positive and negative trimmer range on the Luna giving a very nice and usable speed range.
rnTip steering
rnWe love gently pulling on the tip steering lines to turn and fly fast during aerial sight seeing.
rnBalanced Pitch Control
rnThe profile of the wing has been carefully selected to provide stabilizing glider reactions in turbulent air.
When the wing rocks back or surges forward from turbulence or brake inputs, it will automatically and gently rotate back to the neutral position above the pilot.
Reinforced Leading Edge
Compared to the traditional Mylar leading edges a Reinforced Leading Edge with plastic spars makes the glider lighter, more durable, and reduces the creases on the seams
Each plastic wire has its own pocket behind the top surface seam giving a more robust construction than inserting the plastic into the exterior seam. This also makes it easier to replace damaged plastic.
Elliptical Cell Openings
We have found that elliptical cell openings give better lower surface tension making for smoother inflation, and re-inflation after collapses.
